Battlement

Hoi, ik heb je hernoeming ongedaan gemaakt wegens de 'vervuilde' paginageschiedenis. Zou je de wikitekst van je kladblok willen kopiëren naar Battlement? –bdijkstra (overleg) 6 mei 2022 11:48 (CEST)

Dear bdijkstra, please excuse the inconvenience I have ignorantly caused. You know that I don't actually know a word of Dutch. All my texts are taken from the German Wikipedia with the help of a very good translation programme. Can you please explain to me what I have done wrong? I don't understand the term "vervuilde paginageschiedenis". And how should I copy the article from "Kladblok" to "Battlement"? The article "Battlement" does not yet exist. The page history of your sandbox contains a lot of draft edits for Neuschwanschein and Alice in Wonderland, moving the page caused that history to be moved as well, causing a polluted page history (=vervuilde paginageschiedenis). Battlement does not yet exist, but you can create it by clicking on the red link and then clicking "Broncode aanmaken" or directly by clicking here. –bdijkstra (overleg) 6 mei 2022 12:36 (CEST)

Dear bdijkstra, thanks a lot for your kind help. Everthing is done correctly now. Another question: In the German Wikipedia, I can create any subpage for my user name before I publish the article and am not dependent on a "Kladblok". How and where can I do this in Dutch WP? Indeed it is correct now, good! On any MediaWiki wiki you can create a user subpage by entering the URL of the intended page in the browser's address bar or its page name in the search bar, and then clicking the link to create the page. Dear bdijkstra, thank you for your corrections to the "Battlement" article. My translation programme is very good, but not perfect. Especially the subtleties of the Dutch spelling of some terms cannot be translated by the programme. Regarding your question, "how do you create a new article in the German Wikipedia?" Normally, I create an empty page with the desired lemma in my private user namespace. I can also create several of them at the same time. I do that sometimes because I work on some articles in parallel from time to time. There is no such thing as the "Kladblok" in the German Wikipedia. That would also limit me in my work. Now, as a test, I simply created a namespace in my Dutch user namespace and, lo and behold, it seems to work. When I have finished the last article on my Neuschwanstein project (album "Fine Art"), you can look over the text to see what needs to be corrected, only if you want to. Hi Remembergeorge, please see my Kladblok. Again, only a few suggestions. As to "jingelen": I've never seen this as a verb, only as the noun Jingle. Again, I have to make a caveat as to my (nearly complete) lack of knowlegde of music.
