User talk:81.178.38.169

Hello. I hope you won't mind if I don't write in Dutch because, although my mother was Dutch I was not brought up bilingually and my written Dutch is very poor.

This edit is simply for the record, as a response to issues from users I believe you have had dealings with in the past. You need not respond to it or action it in any way. I retired from Wikipedia some time ago. A similar post on your English wikipedia Talk page was refactored.

I'm having to post on a proxy because my IP is totally blocked. I'm the permanently blocked (but not banned) user Rinpoche. I was blocked after getting into an acrimonious debate over the speedy deletion of an article I had created on sexual abuse in Western Buddhist orders. I had created the account expressly to contribute that article. Previously I had edited extrensively, especially in Mathematics, on IP.

I subsequently had a rather unpleasant tiff with an administrator called John over an entirely gratuitious intrusion into my private life, during which time he blocked my IP page for two weeks. Generally speaking I have scarcely edited Wikipedia in the past two years or so since, though I was involved recently with users Skirtopodes and RobvanderWaal's efforts to roll back Wikipedia's iconisation of Vincent van Gogh's painting At Eternity's Gate as a representation of mental anguish (an entirely ridiculous assertion). These users were ultimately blocked as socks of mine, but in fact neither are.

Some days ago my IP Talk page started receiving the attentions of a group of vandal fighters. I have no idea why, although I suspect the involvement of a plainly juvenile user posing as a physician that RobvanderWaal had ridiculed. One of these, a user going under names such as Sea King and Abhijay was expecially agressive and I sent an email to his school advising he be counselled.

I now see this on my Talk page from Dave1185 about some sock PJBoellaard| identified as one of mine. But that is not so. Since you have adjudicated a dispute between Dave and Abhijay here you might be better equipped to judge the situation. In effect he is threatening to ban me. But in fact the page has been blocked until next year anyway on the false pretext that I have been banned.

I'm slightly perturbed by the legalistic looking template that has been placed at the top of my user page identifying my ISP etc. I hardly see the point since the information is easily found on a Google search. However it contains an accusation of vandalism that I vigorously deny.

This will be my only response to these issues and I am archiving it. Needless to say I have no intention of involving myself in a dispute with a group of semi-literate adolescents and the administrators mentoring them. In general I have retired from editing Wikipedia, a passing madness.

Thank you. 31.6.61.212 26 apr 2012 15:15 (CEST)Reageren

  • Ha. I haven't checked my messages on the English wiki yet but the edit contribution for your IP suggests that there's been something happening there and that's the reason we're here, I presume. Anyway. Somewhere, in one of your edit histories, is a note on WP:TLDNR and that applies in my case to the lengthy exhanges that have happened since 2010: I have not read all of the relevant history, and I don't really care that much. You know I blocked the IP you used on the English wiki; I have also just left a note for some of the editors who weighed in there--you call them "semi-literate"; I call them overzealous. At any rate, that sort of nonsense should stop and I left a note for one of them saying so. BTW, it's not "Sea King": that is the name of a watch made by Favre Leuba in the sixties and seventies, and a very nice one, if I may say so. You can pick them up on Ebay form Indian sellers, though most of them aren't good quality anymore. But I digress.

What is clear is that you are blocked and de facto banned on the English wiki for past infractions and ongoing socking. Offers and suggestions were made to you but you seem to not have taken advantage of them, and I am sorry you didn't. I don't want to say I'm working on your behalf, because I'm not: I'm working (well, volunteering, of course) on Wikipedia's behalf. I'll tell you this much: continued socking is not going to do you any good, and while you may say you've said goodbye to the project, you clearly haven't or you wouldn't be here. It's clear that you are capable of checking in on me, so I don't have to feel the need to contact you, and I can't say that I will be doing much, but I very well might do something. Hasta la vista, Drmies (overleg) 26 apr 2012 16:38 (CEST)Reageren

Thank you for this. I do understand you are not working on my behalf. You say "hasta la vista" and I say in the negative from the same film "I won't be back", honest :). It was a love affair that briefly turned into an infatuation, but I'm through with it and in fact have been for some time. Thank you for your time and attention. 31.6.53.231 26 apr 2012 17:31 (CEST)Reageren
Well, then all of this was in vain? Drmies (overleg) 26 apr 2012 18:55 (CEST)Reageren
I saw the remark you put on my IP Talk page and thank you for that. I hope your remark above here doesn't imply that you feel you have wasted your time on my behalf. If so I am deeply sorry, I merely wanted to record a defence somewhere, if only so I can point to it if my network administrators do receive, as their new template suggests they might, an abuse complaint. I am indeed finished with editing Wikipedia. I made that small excursion with the van Gogh painting At Eternity's Gate and that's it. I thank you again for your time and effort. 31.6.53.210 27 apr 2012 04:24 (CEST)Reageren

Meadows near Rijswijk and the Schenkweg

Hi Drmies. Thanks for moving my sandbox article into main space. That was a pleasant gesture. I shan't be finishing it (blocked, banned, excommunicated etc.) though I know several who have expressed an interest in completing it when they have time. Like William (we go way back, about two centuries) above, can't really write Dutch. Thank you. RobvanderWaal (overleg) 3 mei 2012 17:26 (CEST)Reageren

Why do you want to block me ? What do you have to do with me ?

Dear Sir,

I am surprised to state that you attacked me on the en:WP ; I don't know you nor had any contact with you.

Why did you despise so much my work on en:Wikipedia, saying that my work is a "piece of crap" ? Have you taken 5 minutes to read what I am trying to write ?

Why did you forget to say that you are a very intimate friend of Wim Crusio ? As a result, you are WP:INVOLVED and are not neutral regarding the conflict between Crusio and me.

Do you think that Crusio respects the WP:Autobiography rule ?

Do you deny that it:Wim Crusio was deleted for blatant self promotion ?

Do you deny that almost the same happened to nl:Wim Crusio ?

Do you deny that en:User:UB1Talence was deleted with the template {{spamusername}} which means as well blatant self promotion, that en:User:UB1Talence was precisely the creator of en:Wim Crusio, and that 2 other sockpuppets succeeded en:User:UB1Talence to continue the glorious work of writing the immense biography of en:Wim Crusio ?

Have you noticed that en:Wim Crusio is much bigger than a Nobel Prize's bio ?

Could you have the honesty anfd the politeness to give me an answer instead of defaming me behind my back ?

Do you want to destroy me because I am telling the truth ?

Thanks a lot in advance. Euroflux (overleg) 7 nov 2012 00:07 (CET)Reageren

What allows you to say that I am disrupting Wikipedia ? I do not know you nor have ever interacted with you on Wikipedia or anywhere else. Have you ever looked at my contributions ? What entitles you to speak in the name of G ?
You seem to have a high level of intimacy with G
Happily married people are generally no Wikipedia "addicts", no Wikipedia "no life" because their wives forbid them access to the computer, don't they ?
G is very bitter with the French people, the French system, the French scientists. Do you know en:Jean-René Cazalets ? He seems very successful and famous... Amazingly enough his bio only has 2 lines whereas Crusio's bio is bigger than a Nobel Prize ; isn't it a paradox ? Euroflux (overleg) 8 nov 2012 21:18 (CET)Reageren
Euroflux, would you stop with this? You are importing conflicts from other wiki's. Pompidom (overleg) 8 nov 2012 21:21 (CET)Reageren
