Registered users can change the name of an article by using "Titel wijzigen". This method of renaming keeps the history (geschiedenis) of a page intact. Wikipedia:WikiProject Check Wikipedia

Hi Stefan Kühn, seemingly out of nowhere you started Wikipedia:WikiProject Check Wikipedia. It would be better if you asked first in our village pump if we actually wanted this project. The naming of the page is wrong (fixed) and the project is orphaned. Could you adres the other concers over here? Could you translate it to dutch in your software? Multichill 6 sep 2008 14:19 (CEST)

nl.wikipedia is not a playground

category

Your bot doesn't handle categories in the right way. It lists them as [[Category:Name]] resulting in the project page getting categorised, while the category is not displayed in the proper place. It should of course be [[:Category:Name]] (note the extra : ) Errabee 7 sep 2008 13:15 (CEST)

Please stop adding low-priority issues to the list

I have only update the page with the data from the new dump from 2008-11-13. So that we can discuss with the right number of errors. I never did a bad thinks in nlwiki. I never start a bot in nl to change all this errors. -- sk 15 nov 2008 15:33 (CET)

Please read the discussion on the requests for deletion - page carefully. You never meant wrong, that I can believe. However, some people are using the page in an unintended manner. The easiest fix for that would be to limit the content to the high and medium priority issues - Quistnix 15 nov 2008 15:40 (CET)

Next to that: Wikipedia:Wikiproject/Check_Wikipedia#Symbol_for_dead is not correct: we have decided not to use this symbol in biographies, so fixing this is not fixing according to our conventions in most cases. Ciell 15 nov 2008 15:44 (CET)

Those symbols are not commonly used in our language: it's a choice to name just the dates, without stars or daggers. Could you at least stop updating the low-priority things though, or even remove them from the big list? There's a lot of discussion about those at the moment. Ciell 15 nov 2008 16:09 (CET)

Indeed. Trying in my best German: Wir gebrauchen das Symbol nicht: wir schreiben nur den Tag des Geburt und Tag des Sterbens, ohne Symbole. Also, es ist schon ein fehler das es überhaupt in unsere Biographien drin steht. Ciell 15 nov 2008 18:56 (CET)

Zo is het zeker niet bedoeld, maar als iemand zo negatief behandeld wordt hier (ik zag dat iemand zelfs zijn motieven in twijfel trok, terwijl het iemand is die ook heel veel andere dingen voor Wikipedia gedaan heeft) mag ook best iemand eens wat waardering uiten voor het project. Ik zou Stefan willen aanbevelen om dergelijke projecten in de toekomst van wat meer toelichting te voorzien, zodat ook degenen die het project nu niet begrijpen het nut en de noodzaak beter kunnen beoordelen. (Please give in the future some more explanation to your projects, so that the people that now don't understand will gain more insight. Stop bullying nl.wikipedia! We have tried to communicate, but haven't seen any change in your "you should all do as I tell you to do"- approach. So please listen to the proposed changes in your project, or end it - Quistnix 11 dec 2008 00:41 (CET)

If you start communicating, things will go better. If not, I'll have to stop things from going wrong. As it is now, bots keep putting stuff on the project page that we don't want. Please limit the project to the things people on nl: agree to improve. Otherwise, you are not doing n.wikipedia any good. As you said: some people like it.
