Nachitsjevanse Autonome Socialistische Sovjetrepubliek bewerken

Hello. I haven't understood why this was reverted? You can see the even in English wikipedia, that it was right. Also you can check here - Hewsen, Robert H (2001). Armenia: A Historical Atlas. Chicago: University of Chicago Press. p. 266. ISBN 0-226-33228-4., and here - De Waal. Black Garden, p. 129Hayk.arabaget (overleg) 20 sep 2014 01:27 (CEST)Reageren

Although I do understand why you're refering to a wikipage in another language, it is not a proper source. The other two sources I can't verify since I do not have them in my posession. This map shows that the area belonged to Azerbaijan before Nakhichevan became autonomous. I am aware of the difficult situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia and I will fully admit that I am not an expert in this field. Therefor I will ask colleagues if they can help verify if the information in the article should be changed. Maartenschrijft (overleg) 20 sep 2014 01:50 (CEST)Reageren
OK. I agree. And just about the maps. In this map you can see the opposite, don't you? Even in turkish wikipedia it is shown, that before Nakhichevan belonged to Armenia. So I ask to write the truth, and I am not trying to do anything else. Just I have seen the only wikipedia, that has written so... You can check in this, this and this maps. In fact, Nachitsjevan was taken by British troops in 1918 and was given to Republic of Armenia. Best regards, Hayk.arabaget (overleg) 20 sep 2014 02:15 (CEST)Reageren
I created a talk page for the article. I also mentioned my question on a special page that is intended to draw attention to an ongoing discussion. The discussion will be held in Dutch. If you would like to be kept informed, I can offer translations on this page. But you are also free to join in on the discussion. I am sure that in that case it will be no problem for people to switch to English. Maartenschrijft (overleg) 20 sep 2014 02:35 (CEST)Reageren
Ok, thank you very much. You are very kind. But if it is not difficult, add please some articles there. It will help. Hayk.arabaget (overleg) 20 sep 2014 02:40 (CEST)Reageren
P.S. - Google translate helped me )) Hayk.arabaget (overleg) 20 sep 2014 02:41 (CEST)Reageren
Here you can read below: In June 1918, the region came under Ottoman occupation. Under the terms of the Armistice of Mudros, the Ottomans agreed to pull their troops out of the Transcaucasus to make way for British occupation at the close of the First World War. In July 1920, the Soviet Union occupied the region and on July 28, declared the Nakhchivan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic with "close ties" to the Azerbaijan SSR, beginning seventy years of Soviet rule. Also here it is mentioned, that Nakhijevan was a part of Ararat province, and here it is said, that was successful in establishing Armenian administrative control in Nakhichevan. Also you can read this article and have a look at these three historical maps - 1, 2, 3 Hayk.arabaget (overleg) 20 sep 2014 04:17 (CEST)Reageren

Gebruiker:Maartenschrijft, I have waited almost one month. No answer. It is strange. I thought - Dutch Wikipedia is a strong one, which can solve primitive problems like that. OK. Best wishes and regards, Hayk.arabaget (overleg) 14 okt 2014 22:04 (CEST)Reageren

Hi Hayk, if I may call you that. I agree that it's taking a while for people to respond. My best guess is that we currently have no people around who are knowledgable and who can solve the matter. Or at least no one who can spare the time to look into it for whatever reason. I haven't forgotton about the matter and it still has my attention. But I'm afraid I can't really do anything about it at the moment. Give it some more time. Maartenschrijft (overleg) 14 okt 2014 22:16 (CEST)Reageren
