Another job for your bot

Hi Hazard-SJ. Your bot does good work cleaning up Wikipedia:Snelcursus/Probeer maar.... Could you also make them clean up Wikipedia:Zandbak? The clean version is this one. For some reason the bot who did this work for years stopped working, see the contribs (and the owner is inactive). Thanks in advance for the help! Something is going wrong while resetting Wikipedia:Zandbak. Can you please fix this? Your bot is blocked until it is fixed.

Maybe the interval could be set to once in about 3 hours? That should do.

Yeah, sorry about that, that was introduced by the initial fix, but is ow fixed in this change. Additionally, you could choose to create a page for my bot to substitute on the sandbox, rather than having me use the entire text in the code. The advantage on your side would be that you can easily manipulate the text you want shown on the page. Question

Hello Hazard,

As you have been running a cleaning bot for quite a few years, I would like to ask you something. We have two request pages (WP:VIB and WP:VV) which still require admins to clean up old requests fro m the day before. It would be nice if this could be cleaned up automatically at 12AM every day. Hi Wiki13! Just to clarify, are they simply removed, or are they archived somewhere else? Also, do you need a minimum time between completion and removal, i.e. should requests that were completed 1 minute before the bot runs also be cleaned up, or should the be at least a certain amount of time old?  Hazard SJ  20 dec 2017 06:15 (CET)

Hi Hazard-SJ, thanks for responding. Those requests are not being archived. They are moved to the 'done' (Uitgevoerde verzoeken) section when an action has been taken. When a new request comes the next day for example, admins remove (so no archiving) the ones from the day before, while doing that new request. Should mention that new requests (under the "Nieuwe verzoeken" section) shouldn't be removed. Concerning the minimum time, I don't think thats needed. @Wiki13: Hi! Having just come across this request again, are you still looking to have the clearing of the "Afgehandelde verzoeken" sections of both WP:VIB and WP:VV to be automatically done daily? Hi! Honestly forgot I ever made this request. I don't think there isn't a real need for it anymore, back then it was a nice to have condidering mostly the same people did the requests on that page. In the meantime this has changed and lot of different admins now also watch that page and clean it up regularly (not cleaning it regularly was the main reason for this request). Schoon zand

Hazard-Bot regularly resets our sandpit, Wikipedia:Zandbak, but it seems that it uses a fixed revision number. Is this correct? If so, could you change that to use the latest revision of Wikipedia:Zandbak/schoon zand instead? This way we can keep up with changes in MediaWiki. –bdijkstra (overleg) 20 jan 2021 12:32 (CET)

@Bdijkstra: Hi, Hazard-Bot uses the latest version of Wikipedia:Zandbak/origineel (not Wikipedia:Zandbak/schoon zand) for wikipedia:Zandbak, and the latest version of Wikipedia:Snelcursus/Probeer maar.../origineel for Wikipedia:Snelcursus/Probeer maar....
