Prophantis xanthomeralis is een vlinder uit de familie van de grasmotten (Crambidae), uit de onderfamilie van de Spilomelinae. Deze soort is voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven als Thliptoceras xanthomeralis door George Francis Hampson in een publicatie uit 1918.
