Hello.
I just wanted to say hello to all my friends in Dutch wikipedia and to explain my voting. I do not intend my vote to be counted in any special way, but it has always been traditional that I can vote in any election. I have voted only rarely anywhere, for example in the case of a German sysop election. I think that I have never voted in an English sysop election.
I have voted in this one not because I think that Waerth is untouchable, as some have privately emailed me with their fears. Rather, I have voted because I would prefer to see a different approach taken in cases like this, an approach which is less confrontational and more about building up friendships and trust among good users. --Jimbo Wales 24 jan 2006 00:09 (CET)

- To mention the founder may vote in any election of choice is not a strange idea, I guess. But, when giving a reason with the word "trust" in it, it's more logical to vote against the moderator-rights of Waerth (not the user-rights) than to vote in favour of him to remain moderator. Threatening other contributing users with cautions and bans is not someting you may expect from a moderator and so-called "respected user" as Waerth claims to be. - Ik heb eerder de indruk dat jimbos prioriteit het maken van een encyclopedie is. Daarbij hoort dus ook de lieve vrede bewaren.
- Als mijn indruk klopt, dan blijkt niet zozeer dat hij zich aan de regeltjes houdt; maar is het waarschijnlijker dat hij gewoon in het bezit is van behoorlijk wat gezond hollands boeren - verstand. ;-) Misschien wel meer dan een aantal andere mensen op deze pagina. :-P Kim Bruning 24 jan 2006 23:24 (CET)
