Haplohyphes aquilonius is een haft uit de familie Leptohyphidae. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1995 door Lugo-Ortiz & McCafferty. De soort komt voor in het Neotropisch gebied.
