De '''Ptolemaeën''' (meervoud van Ptolemaeus), ook wel '''Ptolemaeërs''' (soms ook "Ptolemeërs"), is de naam van de uit [[Macedonië (oudheid)|Macedonië]] stammende Koninklijke dynastie die over [[Ptolemaeïsch Egypte|Egypte tijdens het Hellenisme]] regeerde van [[305 v.Chr.]] tot [[30 v.Chr.]] na de dood van [[Alexander de Grote]]. De Ptolemaeën stammen af van [[Ptolemaeus I Soter I]] die een van de generaals van Alexander was. Zij worden ook wel eens de ''Lagiden'' genoemd, naar de naam van Ptolemaeus' vader ''Lagos''.
