Antarctothoa galaica is een mosdiertjessoort uit de familie van de Hippothoidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is, als Celleporella galaica, voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1999 door Cesar-Aldariz, Fernández-Pulpeiro & Reverter-Gil.[2]
