Wouter Keller
Wouter Jacques Keller (1948) is a Dutch econometrician and information scienctist. Keller studied electrical engineering and mathematics at the University of Twente and finished both studies cum laude. He then joined the Erasmus University, where he got his PhD in economics in 1979 (also cum laude). His thesis "Tax incidence. A general equilibrium approach" was in 1982 awarded the Winkler Prins price.
CBS
In 1979 he joined the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) where he was first head of statistical research, then head of automation (IT), and since 1990 member of the board of directors. As director he was responsible for the downsizing of the automation and for statistical methodology. He was also responsible for two large CBS-wide reorganization in 1994 and 1999. He left CBS in 2000.
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
In 1982, Keller became part-time professor of mathematical economics and in 1987 professor of computer science at the Vrije University at Amsterdam. In 2007 he became emeritus professor.
Argitek
Since 2001, Keller is founder and CEO of M&I/Argitek, an IT consultancy bureau, which provides advice regarding e-business architecture and IT procurement. Argitek is particularly known for the study of so-called mid-office and e-business systems for local government. Keller has a large number of seminars and books to his credit.
Flex Capital
Since 2012, Keller is also founder and CEO of the Flex Capital, which is engaged investment management and the development of quantitative portfolio models based on momentum. He has published several articles on tactical asset allocation on SSRN.
