I was born on 19/01/1982, at Den Haag - The Netherlands.
My Dutch photo studio is situated in Zwolle, one hour from Amsterdam and near a big shopping centre.
Very early I acquired a love for music and art, an activity that has continued to walk side by side with my professional affairs. I was 15 years old when I began to work into music mastering. Unfortunately I was never able to dedicate too much time to it, because I couldn't put all my emotions into it: I would like to do more with my feelings.
It was much easier to reconcile a personal hobby and my career through photography, an activity that takes up almost all my free time. At the age of eighteen I bought my first camera, a compact one, you know the simple series, and it was with this that I took my first steps in photography. This camera with standard built-in lens, and later some extras like closeup lens became an inseparable friend for many long years. Now I use more serious gear to do just basically the same things: creating a situation and capturing this situation with the available lightning and models.
I love to travel, which allows me to get to know and photograph other environments. I like to photograph other people, to let them look at their best. I am continuously looking for a 'wow'-effect in my images. That's what makes the images really POP out. Still much to learn, but always looking for new talent.
