Emerauld Ross
IT Technical Support, Wikimedia Foundation
About me
I attended an one year training program called Year Up which is a non profit. Through that program I completed coursework in: CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Linux, Apache, MySQL, Python, KanBan management , and IT support focusing on Mac.
In my free time I enjoy a variety of things such as traveling, attending concerts, painting, video games, gardening and watching thrillers (but not the super scary, more of suspense and thought provoking).
My work
I joined the Wikimedia Foundation as an IT Intern on July of 2015, converted into an employee on Jan of 2016. I support WMF employees in SF as well as remote. My main focus of support are in the areas of help desk support, asset management, communications trainings, off-boardings and back up for A/V.
