De Eredivisie is de hoogste afdeling van het Nederlandse handbal bij de vrouwen op landelijk niveau. In het seizoen 1982/1983 werd Niloc landskampioen. Trajectum ad Mosam en Vlug en Lenig degradeerden naar de Eerste divisie.
