Soedan: verschil tussen versies

Soedan werd van 1821 tot 1881 overheerst door [[Egypte (land)|Egypte]]. In 1821 bracht [[Mohammed Ali Pasha]] van [[Ottomaans Egypte|Egypte]] het noordelijke deel van Soedan behalve [[Darfur (regio)|Darfur]] onder zijn controle. Hij stichtte daar in het noorden de provincie [[Nubië]] met [[Khartoem]] als provinciehoofdstad en in het midden [[Kordofan]] met hoofdstad [[El Obeid]].<ref>Bosworth et al (1986) p. 267</ref> [[Zuid-Soedan]] werd in 1871 veroverd door Egypte dat daar de provincie [[Equatoria]] stichtte; in 1874 lijfde Egypte ten slotte [[Darfur (regio)|Darfur]] in.<ref>{{aut|H.E.
