'''Angels & Airwaves''' (ook wel AVA genoemd) is een [[rock]]-[[supergroep]] die werd opgericht door [[blink-182]]-gitarist [[Tom DeLonge]]. In mei 2006 kwam hun debuutalbum ''[[We Don't Need To Whisper]]'' uit. Hun tweede album, ''[[I-Empire]]'', kwam uit op 6 november 2007.
In januari 2009 ging de band weer de studio in om hun derde studioalbum getiteld ''LOVE'' op te nemen. Het derde album en de film ''LOVE'' komen uit op 14 februari 2010, [[Valentijnsdag]]. De titel van de film is ook in ''LOVE'' veranderd. Deze zou aanvankelijk ''[[I-Empire]]'' heten. Volgens DeLonge zal het nieuwe album vergelijkbaar zijn met [[Pink Floyd]]s ''[[The Wall]]''. DeLonge zei over het derde album: ''"It is the biggest release of my life, the pinnacle of my creativity. It's super conceptual and highbrow in many ways, very artistic, very Stanley Kubrick, but it's not a rock opera. It's a very modern version of what could happen when you blend the film industry and the music industry together in a very, very arty, kind of cool way with professionals involved all along the path."''
