In oudere studies wordt dikwijls naar Seres gerefereerd als en land.^[1] ^[2]

In recenter werk wordt steeds gerefereerd naar Seres als volk.^[3]^[4]

Volgens de extracten uit de antieke schrijvers op de Engelse Wikipedia bedoelden de Romeinen ook duidelijk het volk als ze over Seres hadden. Ptolomeus situeerde Serica op zijn kaart en niet Seres.

Ik ben het dus helemaal eens met de wijziging van Glatisant, alleen zou ik het misschien hebben over "de stof die de Seres maakten" en uiteraard moet dan ook de titel van het artikel worden aangepast hetzij in Serica, hetzij in Seres (historisch volk).
