- Hello! As far as I have seen, the article doesn't speak about the fact that Lacerta viridis and Lacerta bilineata are two separate species. But this is widely accepted since 1991 and therefore should be taken into account here. -- Greetings, Fice 28 mei 2006 20:06 (CEST)
- Please see Lacerta (genus), where both species are named. viridis is called smaragdhagedis, bilineata westelijke (western) smaragdhagedis.B kimmel 29 mei 2006 16:39 (CEST)

Op de foto staat een reuzensmaragdhagedis i.p.v. een smaragdhagedis. Dat is in mijn ogen net zoiets als een foto van een koe bij een artikel over een paard. Verwijderen?--Polkakopje 17 apr 2009 21:05 (CEST)
