Vrage over 1810

I am working on the English language version of the Munstergeleen page. (Pardon me for writing in English--I can speak and read Nederlands reasonably well but my written Nederlands is very poor.) It says on the Nederlands version of the Munstergeleen page that Munstergeleen was a separate municipality (gemeente) between 1810 and 1982. I could find no verification of the 1810 date. Indeed, I have in my possession a commemorative tile that was meant to celebrate the years of Munstegeleen's status as a separate municipality, and it reads "Munstergeleen 1283 - 1981." I have not seen any verification of the 1283 date, either, beyond its appearance on that tile. Does anyone know a source for the starting year of Munstergeleen as a separate municipality? I can be pointed to a Dutch online source but I no longer live in Munstergeleen (or even in Europe) so it is difficult for me to go to the Town Hall to view documents there.
