Hi, I changed a wrong entry: de Groot did not receive the first prize in Vienna but the fifth! the first prize went to Jakov Flier (USSR), the second the Emil Gilels (USSR), the third to Monique de la Bruchollerie (France). Furthermore the fifth prize was given jointly to de Groot, Dario Raucea and Witold Malcuzynski. Best regards. E. Lumpe, Soest 178.1.28.18
