The Boy is Mine

"The Boy is Mine" is een duet tussen de Amerikaanse R&B-zangeressen Brandy en Monica. Het nummer werd geschreven door Brandy en Rodney Jerkins. Het werd Alarmschijf en stond zeventien weken in de Nederlandse Top 40, waarvan drie weken op de nummer-1 positie. Elders in Europa was het ook een grote hit, zo behaalde het in het Verenigd Koninkrijk de nummer-2 positie. In het thuisland stond het lied 13 weken (van juni tot september) op nummer-1 in de Billboard Hot 100. Voor dit nummer ontving Brandy een Grammy Award voor het beste R&B-duet.
