Tribal Trap is a record label and Youtube curation channel based in Berghem, the Netherlands. Tribal Trap has been recognised as one of the main channels that pioneered the Trap genre and is currently ranked as 52nd biggest youtube channel of The Netherlands.

History

Tribal Trap was founded in January 2014 by Stan Wittenberg. After nearly two years of curating music on Youtube and Soundcloud and an explosive growth, the company officially opened their own record label in May 2016. Signed acts include mostly up and coming producer such as the french El Speaker and Skan, who quickly rose to internet fame after their release 'Never Gonna Catch Me'. In september 2016 the company got ranked as 5th biggest record label of The Netherlands by DJ Mag, being the first independent to make it to the top 5. As of February 2018, the label has received over 670 thousand subscribers on youtube and is getting an estimated 400 thousand daily views spread out over their socials (Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify).
