Pieter de Graaf (Utrecht, 27 augustus 1980) is a Dutch pianist, composer, producer and arranger.
Life and work bewerken
Pieter de Graaf studied conservatory as jazzpianist. For years he played the piano for several bands and artists at home and abroad, artists like Wouter Hamel, Illicit, Sandra van Nieuwland, Conny Janssen Danst, Anne van Veen, Dorona Alberti, The Kyteman Orchestra and his own Pieter de Graaf Trio.
Pieter got influenced by his father whom played Bach, Chopin and The Beatles. In his puberty he discovered The New Standard of Herbie Hancock and during his studies at the conservatory by the music of Keith Jarrett.
