De 15de Europacup I hockey voor mannen werd gehouden van 20 tot en met 23 mei 1988 in Bloemendaal. Het deelnemersveld bestond uit 8 teams. Uhlenhorst Mülheim won deze editie door in de finale de strafballen beter te nemen dan HC Bloemendaal.
