Beschrijving

Čeština: Znak města Poděbrady, okres Nymburk. Ve zlatém štítě stříbrná kvádrovaná hradební zeď, vrcholící cimbuřím o devíti červeně krytých stínkách. Uprostřed zdi otevřená brána s černým otvorem, zlatými vraty a vytaženou zlatou mříží, zakončenou stříbrnými hroty. Za zdí uprostřed vystupuje stříbrná okrouhlá věž se dvěma podlouhlými okny nad sebou, římsou uprostřed, na vrcholu pak s cimbuřím o čtyřech stínkách a špičatou červenou střechou s makovicí. Za věží, jakoby na hradbě stojící, černo-červeně polcená orlice se zlatou zbrojí, červeným jazykem a stříbrným půlměsícem přes prsa a křídla. Na zdi nad branou visí stříbrný štítek se třemi černými pruhy v horní polovici. Štítek je znakem pánů z Kunštátu, tj. Jiřího z Poděbrad, orlice pak jeho potomků, knížat z Minsterberka.
