Hello J budissin, welcome to the Dutch Wikipedia! Vlag van Nederland Welkomstbericht in het Nederlands
Thank you for participating in this community project. We would like to give you the opportunity to be free and productive. Here are a few directions that might help you:

  • Please use our Sandbox (zandbak) for experimenting.
  • Feel free to add your expertise to Wikipedians by interest, and to use our Babel templates (taalsjablonen) on your user page.
  • Wikipedia has been an ongoing project for several years now. There have been discussions on many issues in the past. Please check the discussion pages (overlegpagina's) if you are in doubt about the contents of a given page.
  • If you want to make a careful start editing in Dutch, try to expand some of our stubs (beginnetjes).

Hi, the "new maps" for Europe have been discussed and it has been clear that there's no consensus for them. Niels(F)? 27 jul 2007 23:52 (CEST)Reageren

Oh, I'm sorry. Didn't knew that and was pretty sure, that they're in any relation better than the old ones. Could you please show me, where the discussion is (just for information)? Thanks, J budissin 27 jul 2007 23:54 (CEST)Reageren
see Overleg:Luxemburg_(land)#Kaartje. There's more, but I have to search deeper. Cheers, Niels(F)? 27 jul 2007 23:59 (CEST)Reageren
I have no time to look for that discussion now, but that doesn't matter. You don't change a batch of images without consulting the community, especially if you are from outside the project. It was indeed discussed and although anyone liked the look of the new maps, we agreed that they were not suitable for location maps. --- jeroenvrp 28 jul 2007 00:01 (CEST)Reageren
As I said, I didn't mind that the old maps could be better. My fault, sorry. -- J budissin 28 jul 2007 00:06 (CEST)Reageren
No problem. The "misunderstanding" has been cleared. Absolutely didn't assume you were acting in bad faith. Niels(F)? 28 jul 2007 00:10 (CEST)Reageren
