Hi everybody,

First of all, sorry for not writing this in Dutch but even though I have lived in Belgium for nearly a year I do not speak nor write Dutch, but I do understand some written texts (think head lines, menus and books for children to get an idea). So why am I writing this text on a language version on which I am not really active? The thing is that I am an event manager working for Wikimedia Sweden and during the 18 months to come I will work on organizing a lot of events that might include people from the Dutch community and I would you all to have an idea about who I am (and also, I hate a red signature!). See here for the project page and [here] for the page with info about the Edit-a-thon in Leuven that hopefully (if anyone signs up!) will take place between the 13-15 of June. If you would like to contact me, the easiest way is to write something on my discussion page on Wikimedia Sweden's wiki or on my account on svwp.

I have edited Wikipedia for a lot of years now, being an administrator on the Swedish language version for nearly six years now (under the user name Jopparn). On svwp I have mostly focused on topics related to international relations and to astronomy but I have also worked a lot with general maintenance.

I have a background in international relations and peace and conflict studies (my Bachelor) and European Studies (my Master). Last year I had an internship at the European Parliament's Secretariat for 5.5 months. As part of my Bachelor I also studied in North Carolina for one semester as an exchange student.

Cheers,
