Hulp nodig bij sjabloon

Beste Romaine, zou je me kunnen helpen met een sjabloon? Ik heb zonet Sjabloon:Link MusicBrainz aangemaakt. Nu is het zo dat titels van liedjes en albums schuingedrukt worden weergegeven. MusicBrainz heeft een aantal categorieën, in het sjabloon "soort" genoemd, waarvan meerdere titels betreffen die schuingedrukt moeten worden. • When trying to move a page, if the target title already exists then a warning message is shown. The warning message will now include a link to the target title. [1]
• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 7 January. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 8 January. It will be on all wikis from 9 January (calendar).

Recente wijzigingen

• You can no longer read Wikimedia wikis if your browser use very old TLS. This is because it is a security problem for everyone. It can lead to downgrade attacks. Since 9 December you just see a warning. Soon the browser will not connect to the wikis at all. Most are users on Android systems older than 4.4. You can read the browser recommendations. [2]
• Special:LinkSearch has been moved from the "Doorverwijzende speciale pagina's" section on Special:SpecialPages to the "Paginalijsten" section. [3]

Changes later this week

• Wikis can protect pages so that only some users can edit them. The standard protection levels are Alleen automatisch bevestigde gebruikers toestaan and Alleen moderatoren. If your wiki use more protection levels the technical name might be renamed for standardisation. This doesn't affect what users see. [4]
• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 14 januari. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 15 januari. It will be on all wikis from 16 januari (calendar).

Future changes

• Deepcat and Catgraph will stop working. This will happen at the end of January. This is because you can now use the normal search function instead. [5]
• You can use <ref follow="…"> to merge footnotes that follow each other. It is meant to be used for digitised books on Wikisource. If the order of the footnotes is wrong no error was shown but the bad <ref> was shown outside the <references /> list. This will change and you will see an error message instead. [6]

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 21 January. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 22 January. It will be on all wikis from 23 January (calendar).

Future changes

• There is a new suggestion for what to show when someone edits without registering an account. This is to give unregistered editors better privacy and make some anti-vandalism work go faster. You can give feedback.
• Pywikibot is a Python library to automate work on wikis. It will no longer support Python 2. Use the python2 tag if you need to continue running Python 2 scripts. The Pywikibot team strongly recommends to migrate to Python 3. You can get help to do so. [8]
• The weekly MediaWiki branch cut will soon become automated. The timing for this cut may change. You can discuss in Phabricator if this affects you. [9]

Hey, I just learned now that you stopped contributing. Wanted to let you know that you are missed. It's strange I feel like WMF doesn't act when there are actual cases of bullying and stalking and overreacts when there was a misunderstanding. I don't find it fair. Laatste technisch nieuws van de Wikimediatechnologiegemeenschao. Vertel alstublieft andere gebruikers over deze veranderingen. Niet alle wijzigingen hebben effect op u. Vertalingen blijven beschikbaar.

Problemen

• Sommige mobiele verschillen hebben een probleem. Een paar knoppen zijn niet getoond. Structurele dataverschillen op Commons zijn verwarrend. De ontwikkelaars zijn aan het werk om dit te fiksen. [10][11]
• Moderatoren op wiki's die Structurele Discussies gebruiken kunnen de discussiepagina's niet verplaatsten. Dit is een bug. De ontwikkelaars zijn bezig om dit te fiksen. [12]

• Er is geen nieuwe MediaWiki-versie deze week.

Toekomstige veranderingen

• Er is JavaScript-code op Special:Undelete voor moderatoren, dat mogelijk maakt voor automatische selecteren meerdere checkboxes bij het houden van de "Shift"-knop en klikken. Deze code is per ongeluk ook geladen op andere speciale pagina's, en ook artikelen. Dit maakt pagina's langzamer te laden. Als u van andere speciale pagina's weet waar dit nu nog behulpzaam is, laat dat dan alstublieft weten aan de ontwikkelaars op phab:T232688.

Twee artikelen over zelfde onderwerp?

Beste, Het volgende stelde ik vast:
Op 14/8/2016 om 13u48 startte ene Trocadero een artikel op getiteld: Eedverbond der Edelen. Dezelfde dag startte dezelfde Trocadero om 14u02 een artikel op over het zelfde onderwerp genaamd: Smeekschrift der Edelen.

Ik hoop dat dit een uitzondering is op Wikipedia.

De artikelen zijn niet hetzelfde, maar wel aan elkaar gerelateerd. Ze wijzen dan ook terecht naar elkaar, omdat de ene gebeurtenis door de andere groepering werd veroorzaakt. Een beetje analoog aan een artikel over een voetbalploeg en een historische wedstrijd van die ploeg. Als de artikelen echt over hetzelfde gingen, zoals bij ziekenauto en ambulance het geval is, dan is er de pagina WP:SAMEN om dat op te lossen, maar hier is dat niet nodig. Terugplaatsing sjabloon

Dag Romaine,

Ik vroeg mij af waarom je hebt besloten om sjabloon:infobox proteïne en sjabloon:infobox enzym terug te zetten naar hun oude stijl. Ik ben geloof ik heel bescheiden en netjes geweest met de opmaak en indeling van de infoboxen, dus vanwaar de noodzaak om dit ongedaan te maken? TheBartgry (overleg) 2 feb 2020 17:20 (CET)

Hallo TheBartgry, In alle infoboxen gebruiken we dezelfde opmaak en stijl, zodat alle artikelen dezelfde look en feel hebben, maar ook vanwege technisch onderhoud. Er is geen reden om in een enkele infobox daarvan af te wijken. De opmaak die je geheel op eigen houtje daar toepaste is een antieke opmaak die Wikipedia 15 jaar geleden gebruikte in infoboxen. Er zijn door de jaren verschillende peilingen, stemmingen en raadplegingen geweest over hoe infoboxen eruit dienen te zien, dan is het vreemd als één gebruiker schijnbaar denkt te kunnen besluiten daar van af te wijken en al dat eerdere overleg hupsakee de prullenbak in te gooien. De opmaak die je toepaste was gewoon lelijk. De indeling van de twee infoboxen is nu dezelfde als die je toepaste, alleen zonder de antieke opmaak. Missing corrections for the TMIE newsletter

Bonjour Romaine, :-) since your (pseudo-)name is mentionned at the end of the last (present year) january issue of "This Month in Education" (I received the "MediaWiki message delivery" notification this morning), here is a nano-bug report, for the team behind this, and most probably of its bot tamer, to correct : the links under the two words "Contents" and "Headlines", just below the title « This Month in Education / Volume 9 • Issue 1 • January 2020 », lead to the 2019 edition, and not to the 2020 one ! (Eventually if needed, see my instance of this notification here "https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sujet:Vg2zrsa8u4q0ecs2"). Moi Romaine, ik zag bij toeval het lemma over Evelien de Vlieger dat jij hebt aangemaakt, vandaar dat ik me hier meld. Volgens haar eigen website schrijft zij, zoals gebruikelijk in België, haar familienaam met twee hoofdletters, De Vlieger. Ik was daarom geneigd de titel aan te passen maar het leek me goed dat eerst na te vragen. Kan het zijn dat je dat, onbewust wellicht, over het hoofd hebt gezien? Hi Peter b, Ik had mij bij het artikel gebaseerd op https://web.archive.org/web/20180921165334/http://jeugdliteratuur.org/auteurs/evelien-de-vlieger alwaar men het lidwoord met kleine letter schrijft. Gezien inderdaad men in België normaliter een hoofdletter gebruikt, en ze op haar eigen website ook een hoofdletter gebruikt, en op andere websites ook met hoofdletter, ga ik maar uit van een foutje van die website: ik heb de titel aangepast. • There is a new version of the Wikimedia Commons app for Android. It should fix the failed uploads problem. [13]

Problems

• There was a problem with the new MediaWiki version last week. It deleted some messages by accident. The new version was late because it was stopped to fix things. [14]

Changes later this week

• The MediaWiki action API is used by various tools like bots and gadgets. Some error codes will change. Some parameter values that do not follow the standard will no longer work. [15]
• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 11 February. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 12 February. It will be on all wikis from 13 February (calendar).

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 25 February. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 26 February. It will be on all wikis from 27 February (calendar).

Future changes

• There will be a reply button after each post on a talk page if you want one. This will soon be a beta feature on the Arabic, French, Dutch and Hungarian Wikipedias. You will have to turn it on if you want to use it. It will come to more wikis later. You can test the reply button. It was briefly shown earlier than planned by mistake on the four first wikis last week.

Problems

• Readers who were not logged in briefly saw the interface in a language decided by their browser. It should normally be in the language of the wiki. This happened for a short period of time last week. This was because of a bug. [18]

Changes later this week

• If you forget your password you can ask for a new one to be sent to your email address. You need to know your email address or your username. You will now be able to choose that you need to enter both your email address and your username. This will be a preference. This is to get fewer password reset emails someone else asked for. [19]
• When you asked for a new password you could see if the username didn't exist on Special:PasswordReset. Now the page will show the username you entered and tell you an email has been sent if the username exists. This is for better security. [20]
• On Special:WhatLinksHere you can see what other pages link to a page. You can see if the link is from a redirect. You can now see which section the redirect links to. [21]
• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 3 maart. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 4 maart. It will be on all wikis from 5 maart (calendar).

Future changes

• The developers are working on a new interface to solve edit conflicts on talk pages. You can give feedback. [22]
• There is a vote on the creation of a new user group called abuse filter manager. The vote runs from March 1 to March 31 on Meta.
• wgMFSpecialCaseMainPage was used for the mobile site. It was deprecated in 2017. It will stop working in April. Wikis should see if they use it. If they do they should fix it. You can read more and ask for help. This affects 183 wikis. There is a list. [23]

Kaartje Sint-Servaasbroek

Hoi Romaine, een kennis bezorgde me dit mooie kaartje uit 1776 van het Sint-Servaasbroek in het Jekerdal bij Maastricht. Rechts onderaan staan twee kalksteengroeven, die zich in die tijd in de zuidhelling van de Louwberg bevonden (het kaartje is ondersteboven): de "Gemeende Berg" (ik neem aan dat gemeende hier gemeenschappelijk betekent, zoals in gemene gronden) en de "Bos Berg". Hi kleon3, Fraaie afbeelding! De kaart toont in ieder geval een paar herkenningspunten. Midden onder op de kaart staat de Apostelhoeve afgebeeld (bij Lau-berg), daarboven de Hoeve Nekum, daarboven de Nekummermolen (bij Pel-Moolen), links op de kaart staat de Sint-Servaasbron aangeduid (met St. Servaes-Fontijn), naar rechts waar "Geurl Moers" bij staat bestaat denk ik nog steeds op Cannerweg 682, daar waar "Bos-Berg" bij staat is de Bosberggroeve (al wel info over verzameld, nog niet geschreven, komt nog), dan lijkt mij de groeve waar "Gemeende Berg" de groeve Jezuïetenberg te zijn. Het lastige van deze twee plekken is dat er vele groeve-ingangen zijn die later met elkaar verbonden zijn.

Interessant is dat er bij Hoeve Nekum ook een St. Barbara Fontijn staat aangeduid, die kende ik nog niet. Zou leuk zijn als je die zou willen beschrijven! Groetjes - Romaine (overleg) 22 mrt 2020 16:14 (CET)

Inwonertallen Zwitserland

In Sjabloon:Array Zwitserland gemeentes inwonertallen staat dat dit 1 à 2 maal per jaar wordt aangepast. Het lijkt er op dat die inwonertallen na 2013 nooit meer zijn aangepast. Is dit iets wat in een moeer globaal verband (Wikidata) wordt of kan worden aangepakt? _W^\|/_haledad (zegt u het maar) 13 mrt 2020 20:17 (CET)

Hi Whaledad: Allereerst, ik ben niet diegene die met de arrays begonnen is, dat is Gebruiker:Joopwiki. In eerdere jaren dacht ik dat Wikidata hier een oplossing zou gaan bieden, maar de praktijk lijkt wat weerbarstiger te zijn. Als de data er is, is die in 5 minuten te updaten in een array-sjabloon, dat is wel anders op Wikidata. Evenzo is er via de array-sjablonen eenvoudig controle mogelijk op de kwaliteit. Daarnaast is men op nl-wiki bijzonder huiverig voor het gebruik van Wikidata en de complexiteit die er technisch bij komt kijken helpt ook niet. Voor alsnog adviseer ik om gewoon de array-sjablonen te blijven gebruiken. Hopelijk kan Joopwiki een update uitvoeren. Groetjes - Romaine (overleg) 22 mrt 2020 15:52 (CET)

Recent changes

• There is a new API module for changing the content model of existing pages. Use action=changecontentmodel to specify the new model. You can read the documentation on mediawiki.org. [28]

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 17 March. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 18 March. It will be on all wikis from 19 March (calendar).

Future changes

• If you edit a page at the same time as someone else you can get an edit conflict. There is a new two-column interface to make it easier to solve this. It will soon be active by default on the German, Arabic, and Farsi Wikipedias. It will be on by default on more wikis within the next months. You will be able to opt out of the new interface. • You can see a proposed design for replying to comments in an easier way.

Problems

• Some development will be slower than planned. This is because of the current pandemic. You can see the new deployment guidelines. This is to avoid risks when some persons could be unavailable.
• There was a problem when adding interwiki links. The tool you use to add interwiki links could suggest the wrong project to link to. This has now been fixed. [31][32]

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 24 March. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 25 March. It will be on all wikis from 26 March (calendar).

Future changes

• There is a project to make editing easier for newcomers. The developers are trying to understand what initiatives different Wikipedias have to welcome newcomers. They also want to know which templates are often used for maintenance activities. You can help this project by checking if your wiki's pages are listed on Wikidata.

Problems

• There was a problem with user pages not being shown properly on desktop. This was because of a bug. It will soon be fixed. [36]

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 7 April. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 8 April. It will be on all wikis from 9 April (calendar).

Future changes

• MediaWiki will use a newer version of Unicode. Some characters that did not have an upper case equivalent before do now. Titles beginning with one of these characters will be moved. A list of these titles can be seen on Phabricator. The titles will be renamed by the user Maintenance script. This will start on 13 April 2020. You can rename them before this if you wish and the new title can be different from the one the script would rename it to. [37]

Pipe symbool teveel weggehaald?

Hoi Romaine, met deze edit haalde je bot bij regel 366 een pipe symbool (dus het '|' teken) weg waarna het taartdiagram niet meer juist werd weergegeven. Na deze edit van mij is dat probleem (voor nu) verholpen. Blijkbaar is het algoritme wat je bot gebruikt niet goed of gaat er wat anders mis wat alleen zichtbaar wordt na het weghalen van dat teken. Graag even naar kijken want mogelijk speelt dit ook bij andere pagina's waar je bot actief is geweest. - Robotje (overleg) 8 apr 2020 15:57 (CEST)

Hi Robotje, Dank voor de melding! Zomaar een pipe aan het einde van een regel is een loze pipe, normaal gesproken. Blijkbaar zit er in dit sjabloon een kwetsbaarheid die bij het weghalen van een onnodige pipe optreedt. Opmerkelijk detail is dat het probleem alleen optreedt bij partijen die niet in het moedersjabloon vooraf voorgeprogrammeerd zijn. Ook opvallend is dat één spatie voor een pipe al problemen veroorzaakt, dat klopt ook nietIk zal eens kijken of ik de oorzaak van het probleem kan vinden met wat testen. This early version of the Reply tool automatically signs and indents comments.

The Editing team has been working on the talk pages project. The goal of the talk pages project is to help contributors communicate on wiki more easily. This project is the result of the Talk pages consultation 2019.

In a future update, the team plans to test a tool for easily linking to another user's name, a rich-text editing option, and other tools.

The team is building a new tool for replying to comments now. This early version can sign and indent comments automatically. Please test the new Reply tool.

• On 31 March 2020, the new reageer tool was offered as a Beta Feature editors at four Wikipedias: Arabic, Dutch, French, and Hungarian. If your community also wants early access to the new tool, contact User:Whatamidoing (WMF).
• The team is planning some upcoming changes. Please review the proposed design and share your thoughts on the talk page. The team will test features such as:
  • an easy way to mention another editor ("pinging"),
  • a rich-text visual editing option, and
  • other features identified through user testing or recommended by editors.

Recent changes

• You can now use the articletopic search word on all Wikipedias. It searches articles by topic. [38]
• You can see wiki tools in the new Tools Gallery. [39]
• You can see edits from the Wikimedia Cloud Services in a new dashboard.
• When you use filters on a history page you sometimes don't see any edits. There is a text explaining this now. Before it was just empty. [40]
• There is a new Wikimedia Technical Blog. [41]

Problems

• There was a problem with the Wikidata database last week. Some wikis went down for twenty minutes. Wikidata and other projects showed error messages. Interwiki links were not shown, some tools did not work and other problems. Some of this was fixed quickly. The developers are working on fixing the rest. [42][43][44]

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from April 14. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from April 15. It will be on all wikis from April 16 (calendar).

Future changes

• Some graphs have not worked on mobile. This will soon be fixed. [45]
• The article tab on talk pages of redirects links to the target of the redirect. It could link to the redirect page itself instead. You can leave feedback on this.
• For pages using syntax highlighting, the use of the deprecated <source> tag, as well as the use of the deprecated enclose parameter, will add tracking categories.

Fix code

Rare categoriemelding

Deze wijziging: [46] geeft een categoriemelding over een foute datum. Ik weet niet hoe dat te repareren. VanBuren (overleg) 16 apr 2020 17:28 (CEST)

Het probleem is tweeledig. De komma in het getal geeft een foutmelding, en het bronverzoek uiteindelijk een soortgelijke melding, omdat het infobox-sjabloon daar alleen een getal verwacht, niets meer en niets minder. Dat moet evt. in de infobox worden opgelost vermoed ik. Ik wacht het antwoord van Romaine ook even af. Edoderoo (overleg) 16 apr 2020 17:42 (CEST)

Niks mis met de infobox, behalve het gebrek aan documentatie. Alle getallen in die parameter werden omgezet met formatnum, wat de punt in 2.020 veroorzaakte. Gewoon alleen maar een getal invoeren (en bij voorkeur zonder verwarrende komma's), dan krijg je ook geen foutmeldingen. –bdijkstra (overleg) 16 apr 2020 19:03 (CEST)

Hi martix, Op Wikipedia nooit geweest, elders wel. Het voordeel van Wikipedia is dat het groot genoeg is zodat er altijd wel andere gebruikers die een nuwegje of systeemtekstwijziging kunnen doen. Elders ligt dat soms wel anders. Op nl-wiki vind ik de gebruikers vaak te vijandig, of dat nu met opzet is, of met achteloosheid, of niet doorhebbende dat ze vijandig overkomen. Ik weet zelf hoe lastig het is als taal niet de sterkste kant is.

De manier van reageren die vijandig overkomt is denk ik vergelijkbaar met de medewerkers van Rijkswaterstaat die bij een afzetting op de snelweg hun auto geramd zien worden. Dat zal niemand met opzet doen denk ik, maar toch. Met de knopjes op Wikipedia ook, alleen al het idee dat iemand knopjes heeft roept bij sommige gebruikers agressie op, bv wegens het niet om kunnen gaan dat iemand iets meer kan dan jezelf. Als je veel doet op Wikipedia, komt de zure regen van tijd tot tijd toch al, daar hoef ik niet knopjes voor te hebben. Het wel/niet hebben van knopjes maakt mij sowieso weinig uit, het gaat er om dat ik (en anderen) kunnen doen wat we willen doen: Wikipedia uitbreiden.

Het markeringen van wijzigingen wordt denk ik alleen echt gebruikt voor anonieme gebruikers en niet echt voor ervaren ingelogde gebruikers. Daarvoor worden er simpelweg te veel bewerkingen door geregistreerde gebruikers gedaan. Als het zinvol gevonden zou worden om ook nieuwe ingelogde bewerkers te controleren, zou er denk ik een aparte gebruikersgroep moeten zijn zodat er niet steeds de bewerking van ervaren gebruikers afgevinkt hoeven te worden. Reflist

Hoi Romaine, bij onder meer deze bewerking verving je {{Reflist|3}} door {{References}}. Als ik daar volgens de omschrijving van {{References}} weer een '3' aan toevoeg, dan maakt hij er niet drie kolommen van, maar blijven ze in één kolom staan. Dit terwijl ik juist gekozen had voor drie kolommen om te voorkomen dat er het onderaan zoveel plek in beslag neemt. Bij het sjabloon:References staat dat het aan de browser kan liggen dat hij er niet meerdere kolommen van maakt, maar bij sjabloon:Reflist speelt dat probleem niet. In Firefox zie ik daar gewoon drie kolommen. Heb jij daar misschien een oplossing voor? Het probleem speelt bij meerdere artikelen in de Coronacrisis-reeks. Ymnes (overleg) 20 apr 2020 16:45 (CEST)

Hi Ymnes, Reflist is een verouderd sjabloon dat alleen nog bestaat om het snel te kunnen vervangen door References. Alle functionaliteiten van Reflist en meer zitten in References, alleen op een andere parameter. Zoals Edoderoo al schrijft is de 2e parameter voor het aantal kolommen. Gebruik voor 3 kolommen: {{References|2=3}}. Voeg dit gerust alsnog in waar nodig. Ik zie dat er door een wijziging het sjabloon Reflist toch weer werkt, dat is niet de bedoeling en daardoor gaf het toch output en verschil. Het was uitgeschakeld, ik kijk er straks naar. Recent changes

• The small wiki toolkits is to help smaller wikis that need technical skills. They can learn and share technical skills. [47]
• Over-qualified CSS selectors in Wikimedia skins have been removed. div#content is now .mw-body. div.portal is now .portal. div#footer is now #footer. This is so the skins can use HTML5 elements. If your gadgets or user styles used them you will have to update them. [48]

Changes later this week

• There is no new MediaWiki version this week.

Future changes

• Some things on the wikis might look weird or not work in Internet Explorer 8 in the future. Internet Explorer 8 was replaced in 2011. [49]

Landen-/vlaggen-sjabloons

Hoi Romaine, de tabel in NORCECA heb ik aangevuld met de tabellen van de regionale lidbonden, door de vertaaltool te gebruiken. Ik liep daarbij tegen twee problemen aan. Het eerste is dat de Nederlandse Wikipedia het en:Template:Flag niet kent. Ik had dit al eens eerder meegemaakt en heb er toen handmatig de landen bij gezocht. In dit geval heb ik een makkelijkere weg gezocht door het Duitse artikel te vertalen. Maar nu komt een ander probleem boven, namelijk dat er geen sjabloon lijkt te zijn voor Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba (eigenlijk zijn het ook geen landen, maar ze komen wel elk voor zichzelf uit in internationale sportwedstrijden). Nu is een flag-sjabloon in het Nederlands maken volgens mij best nog wel een klus, al heeft dat wel z'n voordelen. Voordat ik aan iets begin, toch maar even vragen. Is het hier beter om die drie sjablonen aan te maken of is er al een andere manier om dit te doen? Ymnes (overleg) 21 apr 2020 17:44 (CEST)

Ik heb dit proberen in te voegen in een artikel, maar een opsomming lukt niet echt, zie de infobox. Als ik het zo bekijk in de infoboxen komt de infobox met de puntjes voor mij wat overzichtelijker over. De ingrediëntenlijst hoort daar mijns inziens zeker thuis; dit lijkt me informatie waar een lezer als eerst naar op zoek gaat. Met de infobox staat dat gelijk overzichtelijk weergegeven. Het alternatief van RonnieV vind ik niet fraai: tussen de eerste twee regels is meer ruimte dan die daarna. Als je de lijst begint met <div> en eindigt met </div>, dan komt de eerste regel wel mee. –bdijkstra (overleg) 22 apr 2020 13:33 (CEST)

Hi Dethwatch, Deze is niet zo gemakkelijk als je denkt. Een infobox is in feite gewoon een tabel. In iedere cel zijn er in principe twee mogelijkheden van invullen, namelijk door het op dezelfde regel te plaatsen als de pipe die een cel laat beginnen of op de regel eronder. Voor eenvoudige tekst geeft dit normaliter geen verschil, maar dat ligt anders bij een opsommende lijst. Een opsommende lijst is er niet op gemaakt om technisch in een tabel geplaatst te worden. De combinatie tabelcel met opsomming kan maar op één manier, het opsommingsteken moet in de regel onder de pipe, echter zorgt dat juist bij opsommingen van een vergroting van de regel van die cel waardoor die niet meer gelijk loopt met de cel ernaast en zorgt voor extra witruimte. (Ook zonder stip, met br werkt het alleen als ze in de broncode ook op dezelfde regel staan, anders ontstaat daar ook lelijke witruimte.) Met andere woorden, de combinatie van een MediaWiki-tabel met een opsomming werkt niet optimaal. (Probleem speelde ook al in bv 2007.)

Maar we moeten denk ik met dit onderwerp terug naar de basis. Door de jaren heen heb ik veel gebruikers gezien die zoveel mogelijk informatie in een infobox willen plaatsen, terwijl dat eigenlijk niet de bedoeling is. Een infobox is bedoeld om de belangrijkste onderwerpen die reeds in het artikel staan kort te benoemen en mag nooit kennis vervangen. Kijkende in het artikel mojito staat er in het artikel geen duidelijk overzicht van de ingrediënten (en ik zou graag ook altijd bij dergelijke gegevens een bron willen zien). Als dan nu deze infobox in het artikel wordt geplaatst, vervangt de infobox als het ware een deel van de informatie uit een artikel, namelijk de lijst met ingrediënten: dat is dus niet de bedoeling van een infobox. Het hele probleem van de opmaak van een opsomming in een infobox kan hier eenvoudig opgelost worden door de opsomming in het artikel zelf te plaatsen. Dank voor het antwoord. Misschien is het mogelijk om net als in de filminfoboxen (imdb) het IBA-profiel onderaan de infobox toe te voegen. Dan is de bron ook gelijk duidelijk. Maar als de infobox informatie moet bevatten die ook in het artikel wordt genoemd, zouden 'geserveerd', 'garnering' en 'drinkglas' weg moeten, omdat die niet worden genoemd. Hi Dethwatch, een link naar een website zoals IMDb en andere in een infobox is géén bronvermelding van wat voor info een infobox staat. Bronvermelding staat altijd onderaan een artikel. Zo'n link in een infobox wordt geplaatst omdat die als belangrijke website wordt beschouwd met meer informatie.

Een infobox biedt in een oogopslag een kort en krachtige samenvatting van een artikel. Als er in een artikel onder het kopje Ingrediënten de ingrediënten staat is dat in een oogopslag al duidelijk. De garnering, servering en drinkglas staan normaal in het artikel hopelijk beschreven (of moeten er nog toegevoegd worden) en staan dan niet overzichtelijk. Juist voor die dingen hebben we daarbij een infobox die het kort kan samenvatten. Als belangrijke aspecten van cocktails niet in het artikel zelf staan, bv martiniglas in artikel over een martini, dan hebben die artikelen dringend verbetering nodig. De werking van de wist-je-datjes is mij bekend. Wat ik bedoel is enkel de techniek, dat als iemand met de muis over een plaatje gaat, er een ander plaatje verschijnt. Ergens heb ik gelezen dat zoiets een mouseover image change heet. Zou leuk zijn bij bijvoorbeeld de twee schilderijen van Francisco Goya, maar kan uiteraard ook een ander onderwerp betreffen.

Hi Denkhenk, Ah, dat bedoel je. Ik kan me zo 1-2-3 niet een voorbeeld bedenken van waar ik dit op een wiki in de praktijk heb gezien. Als het technisch zou kunnen in een wiki is er nog een ander hekel punt: vanwege o.a. hergebruik en de auteursrechten moet de bestandspagina altijd bereikbaar blijven en die is bereikbaar door op een afbeelding te klikken. Zouden er twee afbeeldingen gebruikt worden die wisselen bij een mouseover, dan komt de bereikbaarheid van zeker één plaatje in het gedrang. Ook bekijkt een groot gedeelte van de bezoekers Wikipedia via een mobiel apparaat die doorgaans geen muis hebben en dan werkt de techniek van mouseover ook niet (goed). Sjabloon Refbegin en Refend

Beste Romaine,

Misschien weet jij meer over sjablonen en daarom een vraag voor jou (of anders stuur het door naar een gebruiker die dit kan oplossen). Ik ben bezig in Module:Sports rbr table om dit later toe te passen bij een aantal pagina's. Helaas kom ik deze fout tegen: "Luafout: expandTemplate: template "refbegin" does not exist". Ik heb aan een collega gevraagd en blijkt dat de sjablonen "refbegin" en "refend" niet bestaan bij de NL-wiki. Ik ben niet zo'n expert hierin en misschien weet jij hier meer van. Zou je dit kunnen oplossen? Ik heb het vanuit de Engelse wiki overgenomen. Is er een mogelijkheid om een vervangende/vergelijkbare sjabloon toe te passen in deze module of deze sjablonen weg te laten (zonder gevolgen) wat bij Module:Sports table/WDL overigens geen problemen heeft opgeleverd? Alvast bedankt.

Hallo HKast, Persoonlijk denk ik dat het een problematische situatie is als er sjablonen/modules geïmporteerd worden terwijl men er geen kennis van heeft hoe ze werken. Vooral bij modules speelt dat heel erg, omdat er relatief maar weinig gebruikers kennis hebben van Lua en we daarmee zwaar leunen op de enkelen die het wel kennen. Natuurlijk heeft Lua allerlei voordelen, maar vanwege de beperkte kennis van Lua binnen de Nederlandstalige gemeenschap denk ik dat we het gebruik waar mogelijk het beste kunnen beperken tot die plekken waar het echt een groot voordeel biedt. Hier betwijfel ik het: het moet namelijk een eenvoudige tabel tonen zie ik in enkele voorbeelden van en-wiki. Ik ben geen voorstander van het credo: als iets makkelijks ook moeilijk kan dan moeilijk maken, ets wat wel vaak de norm lijkt op en-wiki. Dit moest gewoon even gezegd worden.

Dan praktisch, het probleem lijkt te zitten in regel 464 + 466 + 486 waar dit sjabloon opgeroepen wordt. Voor refbegin en refend heb ik gekeken op en-wiki wat het moet doen: nauwelijks iets, en heb het in de module daarom even snel vervangen door een dummysjabloon (ik zag geen foutmeldingen in de /doc wat dat betreft). Wellicht heeft iemand anders de tijd om deze regels gewoon eruit weg te halen in z'n geheel en de module op dit punt wat te herschrijven. Ook in regel 481 staat een sjabloon dat denk ik beter vermeden kan worden. Groetjes - Romaine (overleg) 26 apr 2020 02:38 (CEST)

PS: Ook staan er tal van categorieën in die nog onvertaald zijn en geeft de module een foutmelding af via deze categorie: Categorie:Wikipedia:Pagina's die verouderde source-labels gebruiken. Daar weet ik geen oplossing voor, maar lijkt me wel een probleem. Wie daar kennis van heeft op nl-wiki weet ik niet echt, vaak vraag ik het Multichill maar die heeft vaak weinig tijd. Sjabloon:Infobox gebergte

Hi Romaine. Het lijkt erop dat in Sjabloon:Infobox gebergte de parameter detailkaartnaam een paar jaar geleden is veranderd naar detailkaart, dus alle kaarten zijn niet meer zichtbaar in de infoboxen. Ik heb er een paar verbeterd, zie bv Deister en Zwarte Woud maar het is teveel werk om alle gebergtes in alle landen te controleren. Eigenlijk vindt ik detailkaart beter want dat komt overeen met de parameter in enkele andere infoboxen, maar op dit moment is het dus niet goed. Wat te doen? Bronvermelding parlement.com

Hoi Romaine, bij tal van artikelen over landelijk politici staat een Sjabloon:Bronvermelding parlement.com. Soms is daar ook een parameter ingevuld om aan te geven welk interne code van die site geldt voor de betreffende persoon zodat je na klikken meteen uitkomt op de pagina over die politicus. Maar al te vaak ontbreekt die parameter zodat als je erop klikt, je uitkomt op de hoofdpagina van die site. Bij Wikidata is dat gegeven vaak wel bekend. Het lijkt me dat het technisch mogelijk moet zijn om als er geen parameter is ingevuld terwijl er de code beschikbaar is op Wikidata, die code dan te gebruiken. Bijvoorbeeld bij Ferdinand Jan Kranenburg staat zo'n sjabloon zonder parameters. Bij d:Q2087751 (het bijbehorende Q-item) staat "Parlement & Politiek-identificatiecode: vg09ll2i79wz". Als je bij Wikidata op die code klikt ga je naar https://www.parlement.com/id/vg09ll2i79wz; de pagina over die man.

Ik weet hier onvoldoende over om het zelf te doen. Klopt het dat zoiets technisch mogelijk is? En zo ja, zou jij dat kunnen regelen? - Robotje (overleg) 8 mei 2020 14:39 (CEST)

Het heeft mij ook negen edits gekost, om het goed werkend te krijgen, maar dit is de code. Als je de structuren weet, is het al minder ingewikkeld.

Als je dat allemaal combineert, krijg je het stukje code van mijn wijzigingen, geintegreerd in wat er al stond. De parameter van het sjabloon heeft daarmee voorrang/hoogste prio, daarna gebruikt hij evt. de waarde van Wikidata, en als er niks is enkel een kale link zoals we die al hadden. Hoi Edoderoo, ik had al het idee dat het voor iemand die zoiets vaker gedaan heeft het met relatief weinig aanpassing van de code mogelijk moet zijn. Bedankt voor je aanpassing. Voor mijzelf is dit wel makkelijk maar ook voor de lezers lijkt me dit een mooie verbetering. Bedankt! Ik heb voor alle zekerheid nog even getest of het nog steeds werkt als er wel een parameter is ingevuld (zoals bij Jan Jacob Rochussen) en dat gaat prima. - Robotje (overleg) 8 mei 2020 15:54 (CEST)

En als ook Wikidata niet is ingevuld (property mist geheel) en er is geen parameter, zoals bij de verschillende kabinetten gebeurt, krijg je nog steeds de <kale link> naar de parlement.com-website. Als blijkt dat er heel veel personen wel iets op nl.wiki ingevuld hebben, maar nog niet op Wikidata, zou het de moeite waard kunnen zijn daar nog een script voor te maken.
