Lactobacillus mucosae is een bacteriesoort behorende tot het geslacht Lactobacillus en valt onder de melkzuurbacteriën. De soort is geïsoleerd uit het darmslijn (mucosa) van varkens.

Het is een gram-positieve facultatief anaerobe staafvormige bacterie.
