ipconfig

Ipconfig is een opdrachtregel-hulpprogramma (Eng. command line utility) voor Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/10-systemen waarmee de instellingen van de netwerkkaart gecontroleerd kunnen worden. Voor Windows 95/98/Me is een ander (grafisch) programma beschikbaar dat oproepbaar is door middel van winipconfig of winipcfg. De generieke unix/linux variant van dit commando is ifconfig.

ipconfig

Met behulp van ipconfig kan allerlei informatie opgevraagd worden over de netwerkverbindingen, netwerkkaarten, gateway, lokale IP-adres en het verloop van de IP-communicatie.
