Hongarije is een van de deelnemende landen aan het Europees kampioenschap voetbal 2024 in Duitsland. Het is de vijfde deelname van het land en de derde opeenvolgende. Marco Rossi is de bondscoach.

Hongarije werd op 9 oktober 2022 ingedeeld in EK-kwalificatiegroep G met Servië, Montenegro, Bulgarije en Litouwen.[1] Het startte de kwalificatie op 27 maart 2023 met een 3–0 thuiszege op Bulgarije, dankzij doelpunten van Bálint Vécsei, Dominik Szoboszlai en Martin Ádám in de eerste helft. Op 17 juni 2023 eindigde het uitduel met Montenegro doelpuntloos, waarna drie dagen later weer in de Puskás Aréna werd gewonnen, met 2–0 tegen Litouwen. In de daaropvolgende wedstrijden zette Hongarije en grote stap richting het eindtoernooi door thuis en uit te winnen van Servië na twee keer op voorsprong te zijn gekomen (1–2 en 2–1). Op bezoek bij Litouwen op 17 oktober 2023 kwam Hongarije op een 2–0 achterstand, maar speelde het met 2–2 gelijk. De plaatsing voor het eindtoernooi werd definitief op 16 november 2023. Dankzij een eigen doelpunt in de zevende minuut van de blessuretijd speelde Hongarije die dag wederom met 2–2 gelijk, ditmaal in de uitwedstrijd tegen Bulgarije.[2] Doordat in de slotwedstrijd Montenegro met 3–1 werd verslagen, eindigde Hongarije als ongeslagen groepswinnaar.

Hongarije werd op 2 december 2023 ingedeeld in groep A met gastland Duitsland, Schotland en Zwitserland.[3] De selectie verblijft tijdens het toernooi in Weiler im Allgäu.[4]

Op 14 mei 2024 werd een 26-koppige selectie bekendgemaakt.[5] Een lijst van reservespelers bestaat uit Krisztián Lisztes, Attila Mocsi, Balázs Tóth, Zalán Vancsa en Bálint Vécsei.[6]
