2018. gada 26. aprīļa domes sēdē tika apstiprināts Beverīnas novada karoga idejas skices otrais variants “Sakta – novada simbols”, kam pamatā ir izmantota ģerboņa zilā un sudrabotā krāsa. Skices autore ir Mūrmuižas iedzīvotāja Baiba Rambola.
